The images capture everyday moments, small encounters and the unique atmosphere of Riogordo through light, shadow and emotion.

Visitors are invited to explore how black and white photography can reveal textures, contrasts and moods that often go unnoticed. The exhibition celebrates both the beauty of Riogordo’s streets and the creativity of the people who walk them.

Black and White Photography Contest – Life in the Streets of Riogordo

Our annual photography contest celebrates life in the streets of Riogordo. We invite you to capture the moments, people, and places that make our town unique, welcoming, and full of life.

It might be friends enjoying a laugh, children playing, an unexpected meeting, a lively celebration, elderly neighbors sitting outside, or a quiet moment alone. What matters most is authenticity – photos that transmit emotion and reflect the true essence of Riogordo.

Each participant can submit up to 4 photos, taken within the last year, showing as many different streets and situations as possible.
The best photos will be part of a special exhibition at the Ethnographic Museum of Riogordo, opening November 1, 2025.
